In my work, LOTS of people tell me they would like more and better balance.
So today, we look at balance – and how to find more of it! 🙂
Balance sometime seems like one of those fleeting shadows you see out the corner of your eye – sometimes it’s there, but it can also be rather elusive, and it can disappear remarkably quickly too!!
There are several factors that make balance easier to find, and retain. In this video we explore 3 of these:
– settle (by breathing out) so that your centre of gravity lowers,
– soften, so that you are not like a rigid tippy plank, and
– feel the ground with your feet, to give yourself a good “base of support”.
This helps with all sorts of stuff – paddle boarding, yoga, standing on one foot to put on or take off a shoe… I’m sure you have ideas for where YOU might want more/easier/better balance!
