Is there a Dragon in Your Nervous System??

Is there a Dragon in Your Nervous System??

Well, I got a clear “voice” inside me saying “OK – time to do THIS video!”.

Which was PERFECT, given the topic of the video!!

Because here, I am inviting you to meet and greet the Neighbourhood of voices within you, that have Things To Say.  Because, based on many years of experience, it seems we all HAVE such a neighbourhood.  And if you start to chat with the beings in YOUR neighbourhood, you might find out ALL SORTS of interesting and useful things!

Like, why the heck is THIS experience (e.g. a particular tightness, or fatigue, or pain) happening – what is the “useful purpose” of this????

Because, most experiences are handled through what your body figures was “the best strategy I could figure out, at the time whatever started it originally happened.  And if it was good then, well – why not keep on doing it??”

Which, as far as your nervous system is concerned, is a darn good question.

Perhaps, for example, your body seems to be kind of like an unruly dragon, who may seem to be thrashing around causing trouble.  However, if you actually go chat with that dragon, it may be it is doing its very best to keep you SAFE – and keep you GOING.

“HA!”, you say.  And perhaps “This doesn’t feel like a great way to be staying safe and staying going!”  However, if you DO go have a chat, you might find out what it is “busy” trying to do.

And then you have some great info “from the source” that can help you figure out what ELSE you could do instead, that would keep you safe and keep you going now, in ways that make more sense now.

I have found it most interesting, and oh so useful, to go have these chats with the Neighbourhood – both for myself, and with the people I work with.

It may sound a little nutty.  Or perhaps you already do this but you don’t tell others about it because THEY might think you are nutty.  Or – maybe you are perfectly at home in your lively neighbourhood already and you KNOW how useful (and intriguing, and even FUN) this can be!

My experience is – this is a GREAT way to find out what’s happening within myself, particularly if my “brain” cannot seem to make sense of it.  (Which can be rather often!!)

May you enjoy discovering “Who are the people in YOUR neighbourhood”, eh.

Happy exploring –
