When you were a baby, you probably were pretty darn good at moving around. Getting up and down. Figuring out how to do what you wanted, and get to what you wanted. Babies just DO that stuff!!
And, just guessing, as you got older, you kind of lost some of that natural freedom of movement. You are now perhaps a wee bit tighter, less mobile, than the average baby. Is that a correct guess?? 🙂
Here is the great thing: your body, your whole self, remains able to figure out and learn new movement – at any age! You can rediscover and reclaim that natural ability to learn fun new stuff, and to make the world your oyster. And THAT – is FUN!!
Today’s video is about exploring that kind of opening up of movement. And in particular, exploring a friendly relationship with the GROUND – which, after all, is where all of our support comes from eh. Our base of support. As the song goes, “It’s all about the Base, about the Base”… 🙂
This is actually a video I put out last year, and my daughter Kerstin helped me to make it. 🙂 I am posting it again to day because it is sooooo PERFECT to give you a sense of what we will be exploring and playing with, in the classes, workshops, and cool new full-weekend event that are coming up in October.
In all of these classes and events, you will get to find clearer support from the ground – so that movement, and strength, and freedom to do what you want – all become EASIER for you. And you can reclaim your natural ability to keep on learning cool stuff, that lets you do what you want. Better and better.
So that if you want, you too will be able to roll around like this, at any age. YAY!!
Happy Exploring!
